John BRADLEY

Head of Currencies

John is Head of the Currencies team at BNP Paribas Asset Management (BNPP AM).

As Head of the Currencies team, John is responsible for setting the strategy for the currency alpha, FX overlay, and active hedging portfolios. He has extensive risk management experience in a broad range of interest rate and foreign exchange products in both developed and emerging markets. John seeks to leverage the expertise of the broader BNP AM Global Fixed Income team in order to incorporate their depth of expertise when managing a portfolio.

John joined BNP AM in 2021, having most recently held portfolio management roles at Millennium Global Investments and Element Capital Management. Prior to that, he spent 17 years at JP Morgan, where he was a managing director in the Chief Investment Office. In addition to managing discretionary interest rate and FX portfolios, he was the senior portfolio manager responsible for managing the Bank’s foreign exchange exposures on its capital, expenses, and revenues.

John has over 20 years of investment experience. He graduated from the University of Southern California and holds a BA in International Relations and History. John is based in London.
